Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg Undergoes Lung Cancer Surgery

It came out this morning from her office that Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg (85) had lung cancer surgery.

Ginsburg who had a nasty fall not long ago, was hospitalized at that time for broken ribs. When she was being evaluated for the broken ribs, they found the masses.

Justice Ginsburg had a lobectomy, removing one of the five lobes of her lung. Doctors say prospects look good for a full recovery.

Short of complications in recovery, doctors say prospects look good for a full recovery for Ginsburg, 85. She hopes to be back on the court for the start of the new term in early January.
