In one of the most moronic announcements you’ll ever see in our Republic, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi wants to cancel the upcoming State of the Union address.
That’s right America, Nancy Pelosi is concerned about her security, just not yours.
In a press release today, she urged President Trump to postpone his State of the Union speech to the nation, or even just cancel it completely and put it in writing until the government is back up and running.
Pelosi just yesterday gave congress another 11 days off paid. That’s right, massive Christmas break, now 11 more days off paid. Didn’t the Democrats just get back from Puerto Rico and Hawaii?
When is the last time that you or I, the average Americans got 4 weeks off paid? I can’t remember the last time if ever in my lifetime I had 4 years off paid in an entire year. Let alone in a span of 45 days.
Robert J O’Neill, the Navy SEAL who shot and killed Osama Bin Laden took to twitter to voice his frustrations about Speaker Pelosi.
So we should cancel the SOTU because of security concerns for congress. We can keep the borders open though.

It’s already backfired on Speaker Pelosi as DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen issued this statement.
The Department of Homeland Security and the US Secret Service are fully prepared to support and secure the State of the Union. We thank the Service for their mission focus and dedication and for all they do each day to secure our homeland.

Pete Hegseth from Fox and Friends added this to the though process, and it’s not a bad idea.
Forget Nancy and her disingenuous speakership. @POTUS should ignore her, bypass the House chamber, and give his State of the Union from our (porous) Southern Border.
Tradition is often used to confine real change—this is one of those moments. Go straight to THE PEOPLE.

Regardless how you feel about the President, the facts remain that the Democrats are more concerned with beating Trump than helping average Americans.
