Just when you thought Lebron James couldn’t get anymore into the race baiting narrative, Lebron said hold my beer..
The NBA Star is now saying that the NFL is ran by “Old White” owners who have a “Slave Mentality”.
On Lebron’s HBO Sports series “The Shop” the L.A. Lakers forward called the NFL owners a bunch of “old white men” and accused them of being like slave masters.
“In the NFL they got a bunch of old white men owning teams and they got that slave mentality” James said by starting off the conversation. “And it’s like, “This is my team. You do what the F*** I tell ya’ll to do. Or we get rid of ya’ll.”
Can you imagine if a conservative had of said something like this? Neither can we.
James, known for his Anti Trump rhetoric wouldn’t stop there. “The players who make the ship go.” he said. “We make it go. Every Sunday without Todd Gurley and without Odell Beckham, Jr., without those players, those guys, there is no football. And it’s the same in the NBA.”
James continued, “the difference between the NBA and the NFL: the NBA (cares about) what we believe (a player)can be, the potential. In the NFL, it’s what can you do for me this Sunday or this Monday or this Thursday. And if you ain’t it, we moving on.”
James has an estimated net worth of around $450 Million dollars, so he obviously would know what oppression is all about, right?
“I am very educated about what I believe in and I’m not doing it in a violent way,” James concluded. “I’m not knocking on your door saying, ‘Listen, I’m kneeling today and if you don’t kneel with me, I’ll knock you the f– out.’ But you know people go crazy when things are done outside the box. People don’t know how to react.”
James insisted throughout this rant that the NBA cares about it’s players, and the NFL does not. I personally as I write this can’t understand anyone making over 500,000 a year every complaining about anything in life, that’s just my take America, but I’d love to hear what you think?
