Actress and Director Penny Marshall, best known for her role in the 70s sitcom Laverne & Shirley, has died at the age of 75.
She found fame on “Laverne & Shirley” and later directed hit films like “Big” and “A League of Their Own.”
Marshall was by far and away one of the most successful female film directors of all time.
Most known of course for her acting career on Laverne & Shirley, Marshall directed some of the greatest films of our lifetime. She’s most notably famous for “A League of Their Own” and “Big” but there’s much more to the story.
Marshall also directed such hits as “Jumping Jack Flash” and “The Preachers Wife, to name a few more. She was truly in a league of her own.
