What to Expect From the YAL Spring Summit in Denver

One of the largest youth liberty organizations in the United States, Young Americans for Liberty (YAL), has been hosting various regional ‘Spring Summits’ over the past couple of months. This upcoming Saturday, April 8th, is the Denver event which features various speakers; including liberty superstar, Thomas Massie, as the keynote speaker.   Thomas Massie is a Republican Congressman, and a member of the House Liberty Caucus,  based out of Kentucky. He most recently has made headlines for stunning a CNN anchor by stating that he didn’t believe Assad was behind the chemical weapons attack in Syria that happened on Tuesday–advocating that “the first casualty of war is the truth” and that we should avoid making the situation worse with military intervention of our own. Massie spoke at the Chicago Summit on February 11th and is set to appear in Denver on April 8th as well. Other featured speakers for the event are Cliff Maloney, Jr. (YAL Executive President), Jack Hunter (Editor at Rare Politics), and Lou Perez (Comedian & Writer at We The Internet TV), among various others. There will also be discussion panels, activism and training sessions, and professional opportunities presented within and outside of the liberty movement. Tickets to the event are free for dues-paying members (join YAL here) and $25 for non-members. It will take place at the Summit Conference & Event Center in Aurora, Colorado.
