About Us

The DC Chronicle (The Narrative Times News Foundation) is an News and Editorial website based in Dallas, TX. We are a 501(c)3 not for profit organization. The publication was founded in 2016 by Thomas Dillingham and Michael Moates. The publication is a part of the Nation One News Affiliate Network. Moates serves as Chairman of the Executive Board of Directors. The site covers general interest topics including politics, culture, entertainment, and viral news content.

Founding


In 2016, Thomas Dillingham formed the Nation One News website with the purpose of “We are dedicated to bringing relevant news and information to our users promptly. Social Media demands pertinent information for sharing and spreading current news and intelligence. We strive to deliver quality news to our target audience. Our target Audience is a citizen of the United States who engages in online activities.”

In February 2017, The Narrative Times News Foundation was formed by Michael Moates and Joshua Heckathorn. The purpose of the Narrative Times was to give a voice back to the people and allow them to have a platform to explore their journalistic creativity on. In September, Moates and Heckathorn went separate ways which left the door open for the now formed Nation One News Foundation.

In September 2017, Dillingham and Michael Moates partnered to turn The Narrative Times News Foundation into the Nation One News Foundation. The current Board of Directors include Michael Moates, Lauren Kasle, Kaitlynn Critchfield, Brian Bledsoe, Ryan O’Hara, Derek Utley, and Chuck Callesto.

Dillingham subsequently resigned in November 2017.

Coverage


The Nation One News Foundation covers many different topics including news, politics, lifestyle, entertainment, and editorial. News coverage includes national and international news. Political coverage is limited to the United States. Michael Moates serves as the Chief White House press corps for the Nation One News Network. This includes covering the president, vice president, members of the executive branch, and members of the first family. Thomas Dillingham is in charge of coverage of the United States Congress.

Programs


The Nation One News Foundation has hosted two video short shows on Facebook, Youtube, and Twitter. The first is Conservative Coffee Hour which was hosted by Michael Moates and Corrie Faith Lee in the Summer of 2017 and the second was The Though Just Occurred hosted by Michael Moates from Feb 2017 to present. Conservative Coffee Hour was a show discussing modern day politics and recent events. The show featured Ryan Fournier of Students for Trump, Former Libertarian Presidential Candidate Austin Petersen, Autumn Price of The Resurgent, and Joshua Feuerstein.

In The News


On May 16th, 2017, Nation One News did an article on Tim Allen and his show Last Man Standing (U.S. TV series). ABC had decided to remove the show from the air and there were rumors that Fox was going to pick up the show. The Inquisitr cited Nation One News as the source for their article.

On July 4th, 2017, a Philadelphia woman posted a video urinating on American flag. Nation One News Executive Director did numerous opinion based editorials and numerous social media outreach campaigns. He was cited in Breitbart News, Independent Journal Review, The Sun (United Kingdom), The Daily Caller, Circa, The Huffington Post, and UNILAD. On August 14th, 2017, Nation One News did an investigative journalism piece on Jason Kessler who organized the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia. The Conservative Tribune cited Nation One News as their source. Following the Conservative Tribune piece World Net Daily cited Nation One News.

On September 5th, 2017, President Trump announced his plan to repeal Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). A student named Taylor Ragg at Transylvania University called out a student who went public about being in the United States illegally. The Narrative Times now Nation One News Foundation received an exclusive interview with Ragg and covered the story exclusively. The foundation was cited as the source by Fox News, CBS, NBC, Lexington Herald-Leader on two separate occasions, Rawstory, Daily Kos, Truth Examiner, Carbonated.TV, and LawNewz.

On September 15, 2017 Nation One News released an investigational piece that showed Arizona Senate Candidate Kelli Ward had not paid her recently fired campaign strategist and press secretary. The story was cited by USA Today and Arizona Central. On September 21, 2017, Liberty University announced that they would be requiring all members of Greek life to attend a meeting from and anti-trump civilian who would cover white supremacy. The Nation One News Foundation was the first organization to cover the story and Campus Reform picked up and cited The Nation One News Foundation. On September 26th, 2017, Nation One News called out Secretaries Tom Price (American politician) and Steven Mnuchin for their excessive spending on travel in the short time they have held office in the Trump administration. In regards to spending US News cited Nation One News on the funding amounts on their news story.

On October 9th, 2017, Nation One News produced a opinion based editorial piece which compared abortions by Planned Parenthood to deaths caused by the National Rifle Association and an excerpt of Executive Director Michael Moates’s article was put in LifeNews.com. On October 10th, Nation One News produced a opinion based editorial piece fact checking an image and talking about the National Football League with regards to the national anthem protests. USA Today cited Nation One News as a source in their article. Additionally, FactCheck.org cited Nation One News as it’s source showing that the image was indeed fake.
